Following on from drainage investigation works carried out recently, consultation with the ditch owner and other parties, Hampshire Highways will shortly be undertaking works to clear the existing ditch on Station Road, Overton. A draft programme of works will start the week commencing 28th August 2023. The works are expected to take up to 2 weeks to complete.
Please note that this will affect accessibility to the car park at Overton at times as well as the number of car parking spaces available and we ask that patients take account of this when needing to visit Overton surgery face to face between 28 August 2023 – 08 September 2023. We will offer patients telephone and video consultations where possible to save unnecessary car parking issues. There are car parks on London Road and Overton Hill which are within a 5 minute walk of Overton surgery.
There will be Hampshire Highways and other personnel associated with these works as well as vehicles involved in ground clearance so we ask that parking in the Surgery car park is kept to essential reasons only during this period of time.
